I’m a live action/ animation director with over 15 years experience. I’ve worked with a wide range of clients including Rolex, Jaguar, Olympic Committee, Bentley, Kinder Surprise, Wisdom, Matalan and Coty Beauty to name drop a few… I’ve directed commercials, music video, title sequences and TV indents for the likes of BBC, ITV, CH4, CH5, SKY.

If you ask the clients I’ve worked with before, they’ll tell you I’m quite different in my approach to a project. Some call it “thinking outside of the box” but I’ve never really understood this as I don’t actually think there is a box to begin with. My left-field, diagonal, upside down approach means you’ll get something unique and bespoke and that’s…well, a little bit special. My passion is art, design and music. My studio is packed full of a variety of kit and materials from photography and live-action cameras to ink, oils, paints, charcoal, plasticine, wire, glass cubes, a water tank and a whole bunch of other things. As much as I love digital art and working with After-effects and C4D; where possible I like to start with something real. Something thats organic and tactile and from there I’ll combine the digital elements.

Being able to edit, animate and design and use After-Effects and C4D myself, means that there's a fluid transition from the storyboard/ studio/ set to the finished film.  I understand the complex issues before we’ve even started filming - and more importantly how to get around or overcome them. Everything I do is tailor-made and bespoke. I believe this craftsmanship brings something more to a film and if you’d like me to do the same with your project, let me know your brief and we’ll work together from there.
