New work will break in May

Troy University Names Intermark Group Agency of Record

Troy University, a public university whose main campus is in Troy, AL, has chosen Intermark Group as its agency of record.  Intermark, the largest psychology-driven marketing firm in the United States, will provide the University with strategic direction, media planning and buying, analytics, creative development, production, public relations and social media services.

“As TROY has grown over the years to include four campuses in Alabama and a strong international presence, we are equally well-known for our online education expertise,” said Samantha Johnson, Troy University director of marketing.  “US News and World Report recently named TROY among the nation’s best for our online bachelors programs.  We are confident that our partnership with Intermark will help us as we continue to grow.”

Troy University recently announced a free online class, Leadership 101, which is available online to anyone. The course is designed to equip students to thrive in a post-pandemic world, regardless of where they are in their lives and careers.

“We are pleased to be named the agency of record for Troy University.  They have a proud and storied history with our country’s military, a brand that we are honoured to be aligned with,” said Jake McKenzie, chief executive officer of Intermark Group.  “Even with the challenges we have all faced with the pandemic, our team has embraced TROY wholeheartedly and by applying our proprietary psychological approach to uncover audience insights and to begin development of new messaging, we are confident we can achieve greater results.”

“We chose Intermark because of their unique psychological approach to marketing, as well as their ability to incorporate those principals throughout all of our target audience’s touchpoints,” continued Johnson. “Everyone on the TROY team is excited about this new relationship and the opportunities they bring to the table.”
