The Immortal Awards Announces UK Shortlist and Finalists

Dedicated UK jury put 34 projects on shortlist, with 4 finalists proceeding to European regional round of judging

The Immortal Awards Announces UK Shortlist and Finalists

The Immortal Awards has today unveiled the shortlist and finalists from the UK, following a virtual round of judging on Wednesday 13th October, hosted in partnership with European partners CHEAT and global partners Nice Shoes.

The Immortal Awards, hosted by Little Black Book and free to enter for all of the platform’s members, successfully introduced regional judging last year and is now introducing local rounds for 2021.

In total, the 34 highest scoring projects from across the first round of UK judging made this year’s shortlist. The 34 projects were then debated by a local jury in a virtual round of discussions to determine which projects, if any, should receive finalist status and proceed to the European round of judging. Four UK entries have been selected as finalists and have qualified for the regional round of judging.

The regional European round of judging will take place on Thursday 4th November, with a European jury selecting which projects will go on to the final round.

The final, global round of judging will then take place on Thursday 18th November, in which all regional finalists will compete for an Immortal Award or Commendation status.

Those on the UK jury were Celeste Dalairac (Grey London), Vicki Maguire (Havas London), Sir John Hegarty (The Garage), Sergio Lopez (Craft), Jose Miguel Sokoloff (MullenLowe), Nick Hulley (AMV BBDO), David Smith (Absolute), Wayne Deakin (HUGE), Anna Watkins (Technicolor), Chaka Sobhani (Leo Burnett), Jess Giles (FCB Inferno) and Frida Nilsson (CHEAT).
