Allianz and In the Company of Huskies Win at The Marketing Institute of Ireland All Ireland Marketing Awards 2020

The Marketing Institute of Ireland announced the winners of the 2020 All Ireland Marketing Awards at its first ever virtual awards ceremony in RTÉ Studio 5.

The event was watched by over 1,000 marketing leaders and professionals. The MC was RTE’s news anchor, Bryan Dobson and the event included a video message from An Taoiseach Micheál Martin for all the Finalists.

The AIM Awards programme is Ireland’s marketing showcase and the nation’s premier means of recognising the success of Irish marketing professionals and acknowledging their major contribution to the ongoing process of strengthening the Irish economy. There are eighteen hotly contested awards which span the entire remit of the marketing disciplines. The newly introduced award, Client Agency Collaboration Award went to Allianz and In the Company of Huskies.

Commenting on the award, Damian Hanley, creative director of the agency, says: “Winning the Client Agency Collaboration category with Allianz is a huge achievement. To be recognised as achieving best in class client agency collaboration is an honour. It is a testament to our brilliant client Allianz and the team at Huskies that are passionate about creating work for all our clients, that genuinely connects with people and delivers successful business results”.

Robert McEvoy, head of market management, Allianz adds: “The team at Allianz are delighted to have been recognised at this year’s AIM awards. The marketing department at Allianz was only formed during 2017 and I’m very proud of the progress we’ve made as a team and the changes we’ve driven in our business over the past three years. Our partnership with Huskies has been an important part of our story so far and we look forward to the journey ahead.”
